The Nancy Preston Memorial Scholarship

in collaboration with Hidden Acres Rescue for Thoroughbreds (H.A.R.T.)
WHO WAS NANCY PRESTON?

Nancy was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always enjoyed the outdoors and horses. In her youth, she rode horses in Panama and told many stories of her special horse Diablo. She passed on her passion for horses to her daughter Elena and enjoyed spending time together at rodeos.

"My mom was the most amazing woman, mother, and Nana anyone could ever ask for...RIP mom...I know you are...doing what you loved - riding those horses in the sky!"

WHO IS HIDDEN ACRES RESCUE FOR THOROUGHBREDS (H.A.R.T.)?

"My daughter understands better the necessity of caring for something so the fun part can be experienced. I will definitely be sending her to HART camp again!"

Client Review 7/31/19
Hidden Acres Rescue for Thoroughbreds, also known as “HART”,  was founded in Sept 2011 to create a safe place for off-track-thoroughbreds to go upon retirement.  HART has worked tirelessly to build a program that gives proper care to horses in the program. HART has successfully adopted over 200 horses to happy and healthy homes.  Our passion is working with horses and humans so that they can help each other reach their full potential.  Our mission is to be the recognized leader in harnessing the healing power of the human-horse connection.
